Presenting Top 100

The TOP 100 is art exhibition inviting artists to submit work inspired by a piece of music, lyric or a musical artist. Works were selected for two rounds of judging and wall hung at three shows: PRS for Music,The Great Escape Festival in Brighton and Jealous Gallery in Crouch End. The event had over 2000 visitors. My piece "Splitting at The Seams" was inspired by the Band Of Horses- No Ones Gonna Love You.

This image is an emotional exploration through heartbreak, using the visual metaphor of a much loved toy discarded & left to decay. Set in a derelict alleyway this broken noir arena mirrors the fractured dolls sombre demise from love to hate; sparkle to gutter.But in taters as she is the beauty & memory of what once was compels us all to question logic, a war of the heart & the head begins.
