Ur City 2 Project

The last few weeks I've been co-facilitating workshops as part of the Ur City 2 Project with New Lodge Arts at North Queen Street Park Play Centre. It's been a Christmas Craftmas with T-shirt printing, Christmas Cards/ Christmas Tree Decorations and Self-portraits workshops. All artwork were then showcased at St. Kevin's Hall on 11th December where I also made some cute x-mas badges.

The Souk Art Show-Opening

Craft Workshop Exhibition

Just dropped in two original illustrations into the lovely folk at the Craft Workshop. An Aladin's cave of all things wonderful and crafty. A true feast of art awaits your eyes if you pop down to the opening of their new artspace for local underground artists on December 2nd. xo

The Souk Art Show

Its all very exciting....an early christmas present! I'm going to be exhibiting at the Souk Art Show at the Belfast Waterfront along with furniture collective ReFound. The show opens 2nd December, Belfast Waterfront and continues until 6th January 2011. The Souk Art Show is part of the Christmas Souk 12th December 11-5pm. The Christmas Souk promises to be a fashion lovers paradise with revamped, upcycled, previously loved and locally made fair-fashion and accessories from across Ireland and Europe.x

Catalyst Arts Members Show 2010

Finally got around to photomcshopping this bad boy. The real life version (oooh!) outside of the digital world has a turnable wheel inside with lots of pretty things viewable from the circular window. I'll have to make a wee gif to show you properly.
In other news...It's Sunday, it's a beautiful day and I just had a chocolate mousse. Life is good. ;-)

Diwali & Samhain 2010

I've been making lanterns for the last few weeks with the lovely children at The Short Strand Community Centre for the Arts Ekta Diwali & Samhain: Irelands first Indo-Celtic festival! Tomorrow the 6th Nov is the 'Diwali & Samhain 2010 Finale' with performing artists, workshops, storytellers, puppeteers and a lantern Parade at... the Ulster Museum and Botanic Gardens. A day and night of colour and fun, come on down.x
